Presentation :

The IGBMC bioinformatics platform is a high throughput resource for comparative and structural genomics. Its aim is :
to put together, maintain and put to disposal some bioinformatics resources to study the biology of genes up to the cells in the different application domains and to medication.
to develop new solutions and to serve expertise and competences to local, regional, national and international scientific programs.
to contribute to the valorisation of software and data banks developped within the Laboratoire de Bio-informatique et Génomique Intégratives. These are high throughput analysis tools for functional and integrative genomics.
to share his abilities in participating in training courses and congresses.

The platform is open to external laboratories at local, regional, national and international levels.

The Strasbourg bioinformatics platform has got the RIO label in 2003 (Réseau Inter Organismes) as well as the "Génopôle Grand-Est : from Gene to Medication" label.
