New team leader positions open
The IGBMC is launching a call for applications for team leader positions on 11 February 2022. This is an opportunity for interested scientists to join our multidisciplinary institute located in Strasbourg. The IGBMC is internationally recognized for its contributions to the study of eukaryotic gene expression, cell and developmental biology, the structural analysis of factors involved in these processes as well as the identification of genes involved in human diseases.
IGBMC is opening two calls for group leader positions:
- a general call to support the institute's major research topics (eukaryotic gene expression, cell fate and plasticity, molecular medicine, integrated structural biology),
- a targeted call in computational biology-bioinformatics.
The computational biology call reflects the institute's commitment to invest in this area. Special attention will be given to integrative image analysis, machine learning for single-cell multi-omics integration, and machine learning for molecular medicine. Both calls are open to junior and senior level researchers. Successful candidates will receive a competitive start-up package, depending on experience and field of research, and are expected to establish productive links with existing IGBMC teams.
Our institute offers an outstanding research environment with state-of-the-art laboratories and 15+ core facilities and services. The working language is English.
