Two IGBMC scientists receive an ERC Grant
Juliette Godin and Minchul Kim, two Inserm research officer, have been awarded two European Research Council Grants, as announced by the organisation on Thursday 17 March 2022. This fundings will enable them to carry out their research projects over the next five years.

Two developmental biology projects funded for up to 5 years
The two IGBMC scientists who received ERC funding this year are in the field of developmental biology research. The two grants obtained are :
- An ERC Consolidator Grant, won by Juliette Godin for her project to study translation as a novel level of gene regulation during cortical development.
- An ERC Starting Grant, won by Minchul Kim for his project on syncytial cells, cells that have several nuclei. More specifically, he will investigate how these cells develop and what their functions are.
