MATURE YOUR PhD : give wings to your thesis !
SATT Conectus, in partnership with Alsatian universities and research institutions, is launching
the “Mature your PhD” challenge, dedicated to PhD students and early-career researchers
interested in exploring research-driven entrepreneurship.
Applications are open until May 18, 2026.
Who can apply:
- 2nd- and 3rd-year PhD students (excluding CIFRE) enrolled at an Alsatian university
- Early-career PhDs (up to 2 years post-thesis) affiliated with a public Alsatian laboratory or the University of Strasbourg FabLabs network
Eligibility criteria for the thesis:
- Demonstrates technological innovation potential (product, service, or process)
- Shows potential for industrial application
- Produces results that could eventually be protected intellectually
Prizes for the winners:
- €1,000
- A 12-day accredited entrepreneurship training program
- Personalized assessment of the thesis’s economic potential
- Priority access to the i-PhD, i-Lab, and Starthèse innovation competitions
How to apply:
Download the rules and application form, complete it, obtain your thesis advisor’s or laboratory/FabLab coordinator’s approval, and submit your application to Conectus by May 18, 2026.
