PhD programme
The IGBMC PhD recruitment program is based on three years intensive training, which includes scientific research activities, but also an active involvement in practical work modules and conferences. Animated by the experts at the IGBMC, the scientific and technical modules are organized around the research themes for which our Institute is known: Transcription - chromatin and epigenetics, Structural and integrative biology, Generation and phenotyping of transgenic mice, and includes platform visits (ICS, Microarrays and sequencing, Structural biology and genomics and Proteomics). Specific practical training courses are proposed by the Imaging Centre and Bioinformatics, Structural biology and High throughput screening platforms.
The proximity of other research organisms at the parc d'innovation d’Illkirch, such as the Mouse Clinical Institute, the Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie Strasbourg (ESBS) or the Faculty of pharmacy largely contribute to developing collaborations within and around the IGBMC.
