IGBMC : Institut de la Génétique et de la Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire

The Institute has approximately 250 PhD students and post-docs. In recent years, some of them have been proactive and have created an association to promote the integration of new entrants and to offer diverse activities, scientific or otherwise. You can contact them for any practical information concerning your arrival at the Institute. Housing, transport, the student and post-doc association can also help with administrative procedures.

Throughout the year, the association proposes activities within the Institute such as lunchtime exchanges to practice English or French speaking, as well as poster sessions that allow young scientists to discover the work of the different teams and to discuss new themes. The association also participates in the organization of parties, poker tournaments, athletic competitions, cinema club, etc. Since 2010, it organizes an annual retreat to gather students and post-docs in a less formal setting.
