GERLI 20th LIPID MEETING Lipids in Cell Structures & Metabolism STRASBOURG
The 20th GERLI International Lipid Meeting will be held in Strasbourg from Monday, November 3rd to Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at the Conference Center of the CCI Campus Alsace.
This is a major event for the lipid biosciences community, bringing together leading researchers to discuss the latest advances in lipid biology across different organisms.
Key Dates:
Abstract submission for oral presentations: August 31, 2025
Abstract submission for posters: September 30, 2025
Registration deadline: October 1, 2025
Students from the University of Strasbourg benefit from reduced registration fees.

The scientific program will cover a wide range of topics, including:
Advanced Approaches for Lipid Research
Lipid Cellular Functions
Lipids in Autophagy
Membrane Biophysics and Membrane Contact Sites
Lipids in Metabolism and Cancer
A special session dedicated to Lipids and the Brain will be held in collaboration with the SFEL society, and last-minute hot topics in lipid sciences will be included based on submitted abstracts.
We are honored to announce that the Opening Lecture will be given by Prof. Russell DeBose-Boyd (UT Southwestern Medical Center, Houston), entitled “Lipid sensing pathways in cholesterol metabolism”.
As always, GERLI is committed to supporting young scientists. The meeting will feature short-talk and poster awards, and the winners of the GERLI2025 Thesis Prize will present their work in a dedicated session.
