iCS 20th anniversary - User's case presentation
For the 2nd webinar celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ICS, the institute is organising a user's cases presentation on Tuesday 8 March 2022. Two talks will be given, respectively by Brigitte Kieffer, Inserm research director at CRBS, and Christine Petit, professor at Institut Pasteur. To register, you can use this link.
The presentations will be about :
- Receptors in brain circuits: where and how do they work, by Brigitte Kieffer who has created different mouse lines with the ICS. These lines have allowed the direct visualisation of the receptors of interest in neurons and brain circuits, as well as the genetic manipulation of these receptors and the neurons that express them, in order to understand their function in the brain.
- Towards Gene Therapy for Sensorineural Deafness, by Christine Petit, who has also been involved in the creation of various mouse models for hearing research projects.
