Data Spring 2025 at the IGBMC!

Ever heard about Open Science? Want to know how sharing your research data may help your Research Assessment?

Come and learn more at these 3 half days dedicated to Open Science and open research data, at IGBMC on March 31st and 2nd of April, during the Data Spring Initiative 2025 !

Summary


For the first time since the launch of the “Data Spring” initiative, the IGBMC will host 1.5 days of events focusing on Open Science and Research Data, the 31st of March all day and the 2nd of April afternoon

This event is aimed at scientific staff: researchers and teacher-researchers, research engineers and technicians, doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows, as well as all IGBMC staff with an interest in Open Science. The events are open to IGBMC staff and external participants, on registration only.

Each presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. All presentations will be in English.

Bonus event: come and play around with open science and take part in our escape game and our educational game on research data and FAIR principles!!!- in French and on registration only.

Monday 31th of Mars :


MORNING: Talks on Research Assessment, Auditorium, IGBMC

  • 10 Am-10.05 Am: Introduction to the Data Spring initiative 2025 at IGBMC, Bénédicte Métais, IGBMC
  • 10.05 Am-10.20 Am: Policy and projects in France and at the University of Strasbourg in terms of Research Assessment, Françoise Genova, University of Strasbourg
  • 10.20 Am-10.50 Am: Research Assessment from an international perspective: feedback and current activities of the group on Research Assessment at the Research Data Alliance, Françoise Genova, University of Strasbourg
  • 10.50 Am-11.10 Am: Sharing from Research Data Alliance , Aline Grand, University of Strasbourg

  • 2.20 Pm-3 Pm:  The DMP: data management plan, Jérôme Pansanel, Plateforme SCIGNE, CNRS
  • 3 Pm -3.30 Pm:  social and environmental issues of a digital society, Arthur Pons, University of Strasbourg, IT division.
  • 5 Pm: Games!!
