Fundraising Campaign for Daniel Metzger and Gilles Laverny's Team

The Life PINK association, led by Nicolas Rieffel, is joining forces with the Movember* movement to raise public awareness about men's cancers, particularly prostate cancer.

This initiative is supported by the Fédération des Chefs d’Alsace, Les Étoiles d’Alsace, l'Union nationale des Entreprises de Coiffure du 67 et la Corporation des Professions et Métiers de l’Automobile Alsace, bringing together several hundred members.

All funds raised will be donated to a research team at the IGBMC, led by Drs. Metzger and Laverny, who are dedicated to exploring new ways to understand and treat prostate cancer, including identifying strategies to overcome resistance to current treatments. Among their recent findings is the potential impact of vitamin D in enhancing the effectiveness of chemotherapy.

Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men and one of the leading causes of death.

Thanks to this solidarity campaign, every contribution helps to advance research and provide more hope to patients. Together, let’s support this essential cause and fight against male cancers in Alsace!
