  • The “Espoirs of the University of Strasbourg” Awards highlight the most promising early-career researchers.
This year, 6 laureates were selected from among 16 applications in recognition of the quality of their work, their creativity, and their commitment to teaching and training.
Aged under 42 and with between four and eight years of postdoctoral experience, they embody the next generation of research excellence at the University of Strasbourg.
Congratulations to Anaïs Bardet, recipient of this award!

  • The “Attractiveness” call for projects supports the establishment and integration of new faculty members and researchers within the University.
Out of 44 applications, 19 projects were selected, representing total funding of €700,000, i.e. up to €80,000 per project over 24 months.
This scheme aims to support their long-term integration, encourage collaborations, and strengthen the international visibility of our research teams.
Congratulations to Raphaël Pantier, recipient of this call, for his project entitled “Mapping of promiscuous transcription factors on single chromatin fibers.”

  • Finally, the “Exploratory Research” call for projects, designed to encourage risk-taking and innovative approaches, attracted strong interest with 66 applications (compared to 56 last year).
Twenty projects were selected: 6 in law, economics, management, and the humanities and social sciences; 5 in science and technology; and 9 in life and health sciences.
With total funding of €400,000 (up to €30,000 per project), this scheme makes it possible to test new ideas and lay the groundwork for future national or European grant applications.
Congratulations to Sandrine Morlot for her project entitled “The role of ribosomal DNA mobility in transcription regulation.”
