Vitamin D and Prostate Cancer: Kateryna Len’s Groundbreaking Research Honored by the ARC Foundation
At the Fondation ARC’s Young Researchers Conference, Kateryna Len, a PhD student at IGBMC, was awarded twice for her work on a promising approach: combining vitamin D analogues with chemotherapy to enhance the effectiveness of prostate cancer treatments, especially in resistant cases. Supervised by Gilles Laverny within Daniel Metzger’s team, she highlighted key mechanisms related to inflammation, cell proliferation, and metastasis formation. This research opens new therapeutic perspectives.
