Alix Simon is a PhD student in Jocelyn Laporte's team and studies the mechanisms of centronuclear myopathies. As a bioinformatician, her objective is to combine a large set of data on gene expression, protein functioning, cellular characteristics as well as physiological characteristics to obtain a general network of knowledge and explain the cascade of events enlightening the functioning of the pathology. To present her background and research, Inserm realized a video presentation.
