Congratulations to Max Cigrang on the acceptance of his thesis, directed by Frédéric Coin : " Targeting Transcriptional Addiction in Cutaneous Melanoma ".

During his time at the IGBMC, the PhD student was able to develop a strong understanding of cancer research and functional genomics (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Cut & tag) as well as project management and student supervision. He also won the prize for best poster at the 21st Science Day organised by La Ligue contre le Cancer, on 9 November 2021.
The expertise and investment of our Genomeast, cell culture, flow cytometry, cell screening and hispathology platforms enabled this project to be carried out with the multi-level analyses required. Thanks also to PharmaMar for its collaboration with him.
Max Cigrang is staying on at the IGBMC for a one-year post-doctorate to complete various projects. After that, the young researcher hopes to pursue his career in cancer research!
