Four young scientists rewarded during the Doctoral School Days 2023

During the Doctoral School Days 2023, prizes were awarded to doctoral students for the quality of their presentations and posters. Four young scientists of the IGBMC were rewarded for their work.

The four IGBMC doctoral students who won a Doctoral School award are:

  • Adina Aukenova, from the Kastner-Chan team, supervised by Beate Heizmann, for her 1st place in the "Long talk" category. Her project: Functional role of dimerization for Ikaros family transcription factors
  • Geoffrey Bianchi, from the Kastner-Chan team, supervised by Peggy Kirstetter, for his 1st place in the "Poster" category. His project: Role of the transcription factors Ikaros and Helios in the cell cycle and survival of hematopoietic stem cells
  • Quentin Brassart, from the Dollé team, supervised by Wojciech Krezel, for his 2nd place in the "Long talk" category. His project: Determining the role of RXRg in oligodendrogenesis using reporter system
  • Nicolas Zinter, from the Dollé team, supervised by Wojciech Krezel, for his 3rd place in the "Poster" category. His project: Characterization of the first animal model of Microphthalmia Syndromic 12 (MCOPS12)
