The flow cytometry service allows multi-parameter analysis on elements (cells, particles, cellular components…) located in a cellular suspension, and their sorting in different sub-populations depending on many criteria (relative size, granularity, fluorescence intensity…). Regarding the numerous applications of this individual quantitative and qualitative characterization technology, this is an essential research tool for cellular biology. This service is open to IGBMC researchers and the whole local scientific community.
State-of-the-art equipment including cell analyzers and sorters with different optical configurations as well as the expertise of its staff through advice, User assistance and training are the optimum conditions for the implementation of research projects.
Managed by Claudine Ebel, the Flow Cytometry service has been analysing and sorting scientists samples for over 25 years at IGBMC. With nearly 3000…
